Our Achievements
The West Midlands Kick Start Partnership since its set up in 2004 has:
- Funded over £28 Million worth of repairs, improvements and relocations
- Helped over 1,500 homeowners to repair and improve their home
- Provided information, advice and signposting to over 11,000 homeowners
- Received confirmation that 95% of homeowners were satisfied with the service received and would recommend the Kick Start Scheme to others
- Received two UK Housing Awards for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Social Housing in England’ and ‘Excellence in Delivering Mixed Communities’
- Recognised by Communities and Local Government as a ‘model to be replicated’
- Increased its Local Authority members from seven in 2004 to twenty eight in 2010.
- Established a ‘recyclable loan fund’ where over £1 Million is available for re-investment.
