During 2008/09 the Programme Team will be concentrating its efforts on driving the Programme further forward to meet the aims as outlined in the Succession Strategy 2007/12 through a number of activities: Technical Steering Group members are working together to produce a comprehensive construction package which brings together specifications of building works and costs to produce one Joint Specification of Works. Customer Satisfaction and Service Impact Assessment 2008 The specification for this year’s Customer Satisfaction and Service Impact Assessment has been drawn up and sent out to tender with an approved contractor to be appointed in July 2008. One of the Programme’s most innovative objectives is the aim to lever in private finance to further lessen the burden of using public funds. It’s expected that 27 new partners will join the Partnership over the next three years, 15 of which coming on board during the next 12 to 18 months. One of the key actions outlined in the Succession Strategy 2007/12 to increase value for money was to establish a Benchmarking Club in order to assess the performance of the Partnership year on year. Sub Regional Pilot Programme: Joint Delivery Project The proposed Sub Regional Pilot Programme will bring together four Partnership Local Authorities, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sandwell and Dudley. The Succession Strategy 2007/12 highlighted the importance of learning and development to further develop the Programme in view of the anticipated growth in service delivery. |
